|
|
Hi,
I've installed GWOS on a RHAS4 server, it seemed to install fine. I have removed 'httpd' service from runlevel3, stopped it, but when trying to start 'gwhttpd' I get:
[root@watchtower conf]# service gwhttpd restart
httpd not running, trying to start
no listening sockets available, shutting down
Unable to open logs
[root@watchtower conf]# netstat -tlpn
Active Internet connections (only servers)

Do you have any ideas what may be causing this? |

Take a look at /usr/local/groundwork/apache2/conf/http.conf. As you see, the file is empty. Just copy the httpd.conf.bak to http.conf and it will work.

Thanks, that worked.
It might be worth mentioning it in the installation guide as an FAQ. |
