There is a way to do this, but not with the GroundWork Monitor Open Source download, which is oriented toward a single system. A multiple server configuration has been done with the stand-alone Monarch product, but it takes some customization.
The idea is to set up the following:
1. Set up a different directory aliases in httpd.conf for each server so accessing a different URL will access a different instance of monarch.
2. Run the standalone monarch setup script once for each system. This will install a different monarch CGI in each directory alias, and create a different databases for each server.
3. You should then be able to access a monarch page for each machine.
Scott Paris will be releasing a new standalone Monarch on sourceforge in about a week. This version will have all the features that the GroundWork Monitor configuration tool has. It has some new profile import/export capabilities that will enable you to more easily synchronize definitions among your machines. If possible, we recommend you wait for that version.
