Inside Sales Representative (ISR) - Contract

Groundwork Open Source is a venture-backed software company offering enterprise-class IT management solutions based on open source software. The company has 50 employees and is based in San Francisco, CA.

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) will be responsible for qualifying opportunities and developing new business with Channel Partners. The ISR will identify the decision-making process and current operating environment, provide product information, and qualify the Partner prospect based on the criteria set up by management.

Responsibilities:

  • Consistently meet/exceed lead qualification quota and performance goals
  • Convert contact/leads to qualified Partner opportunities (Salesforce.com)
  • Develop the sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, and by handling inbound inquiries generated from demand creation (375 dials required/week)
  • Team with the Channel Manager to support the sales process and win deals
  • Maintain and update contact/lead database (Salesforce.com)
  • Share feedback and recommendations from perspective Partners

Requirements:

  • 3-5 yrs of experience qualifying Partner leads for enterprise software solutions/services
  • Experience with Network products highly preferred
  • Expert at building rapport with Partners, asking probing questions and closing for a meeting/demo
  • The ability to identify and develop high potential Partner opportunities
  • Experience in coordinating/delivering WebEx presentations to individuals/groups
  • Exhibit high energy, persistent, enthusiastic, and results driven behavior
  • Possess a professional business manner
  • Must possess excellent telephone communication skills, and be self-motivated
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work independently, with minimal supervision
  • Viewed as a strong team player
  • Bachelors degree preferred
